Lori Pfiester, CEO, Owner Quality Aging Solutions, LLC
Lori has over twenty five years working in the Long Term Care Industry. She runs her business in Altoona, PA, along with her husband and two children. A true healthcare advocate, she has worked in the industry to help improve systems that will ensure a better experience for patients and their families.
Lori has been a speaker with the Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Society numerous times presenting on Inter-generation Programs, Alzheimer's Disease and Intervention, Sensory Training, and Team-building. In 1995, she was awarded the Marketing Award from the Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Society for her Inter-generational programs. In 2000, Ms. Pfiester received a volunteer Recognition Award for her work with the Alzheimer's Association. She continues to be an active volunteer with the organization.
Lori has also has extensive experience in working with operational systems and developing private practices for several clinicians. She has been responsible for developing, implementing and training staff on all operational functions related to practice, as well as, experience with credentialing, billing submissions, coding and HIPPA compliance.
Lori's primary focus during her professional career is to develop programs to increase community interaction and awareness of the needs of our elderly. Lori's is excited to be an affiliate with Aging !n America, and provide opportunities for individuals to network , gain insight into current issues and assist families in navigating our complex healthcare system.
